At For The Frontline, we believe the essentials matter.
When you work long hours in high-stress, high-demand environments, your socks, underwear, and undershirts should do more than just get by. They should support you through every step, every shift, and every call.
That’s why we’re carefully developing and testing premium everyday staples designed with frontline professionals in mind.
We are currently focused on three core products:
Merino wool socks
Natural-fiber underwear
Natural-fiber undershirts
Every product is being considered with comfort, durability, breathability, and all-day wear in mind.
What We’re Currently Testing
Merino Wool Socks
Our socks are being designed for long shifts, repeated wear, changing temperatures, and all-day performance.
We are currently testing a 55% merino wool blend in multiple styles to learn where first responders need the most support, comfort, and compression. We are also exploring a 75% merino wool blend as a more premium option.
We are evaluating details like:
- overall comfort
- targeted support
- compression placement
- cushioning
- ideal height and fit
- durability over time
Our goal is to create socks that feel dependable from the beginning of a shift to the end.
Underwear
Our underwear is being developed with majority natural materials in mind, with current fabric options including bamboo and modal.
We are still refining exact fabric composition, but our focus is on creating underwear that offers:
- softness
- breathability
- moisture control
- flexibility
- lasting comfort during long shifts
We want this to be the kind of underwear you do not have to think about while you are working.
Undershirts
Our undershirts are also being designed with majority natural materials, and the current plan is for them to be made with 95% bamboo or modal.
These shirts are being considered as a lightweight, breathable base layer that can be worn comfortably under uniforms and gear.
We are focusing on:
- softness against the skin
- breathability
- layering comfort
- clean fit
- dependable everyday wear

We are not interested in making throwaway basics. We want to build products that feel worth reaching for again and again.

Our kits are being built around our core staples. Depending on the final offering, customers can hopefully expect kits to include combinations of:

We plan for our core essentials to stay consistent, while occasional special items or founder-exclusive additions may rotate in over time.

• Do not use fabric softener or bleach
• Wash with like colors
For best results and longest lifespan, avoid high heat and harsh detergents.
